Looking for Bahamas Beachfront Real
Estate?
If you could choose to live in one of the
most beautiful places in the world, the Bahamas
should be high on your list. Just thinking of
the Bahamas brings to mind white-sand beaches,
swaying palm trees and crystal clear blue waters.
You can actually own this beachfront real estate
dream.
Since the Bahamas islands are so popular, you might think that all Bahamas
real estate is sold by now, but with more than 700 islands and 2,500 inlets,
there are beautiful spots still available.
New
Tax Incentives for Purchasers and Investors
The government of the Bahamas islands
is trying to attract buyers and encourage investors
by extending tax incentives. Under new legislation,
the International Persons Landholding Act grants
routine approval to non-residents who wish to
purchase residential property. The law also
includes a two-year property tax exemption for
purchasers of land for development purposes.
In order to revitalize the downtown district, Prime Minister Hubert Ingraham
has incorporated five-year tax concessions on residential properties in
the city. The hopes are to entice more people to live in an urban neighborhood.
This will bring additional business to the restaurants, shops and bars.
It is a great investment opportunity for non residents looking for a spot
in the tropics.
Golden Opportunities
There are choice pieces of Bahamas real estate still available,
and many sections of the islands are still obtainable for development.

Some homes with three bedrooms and three bathrooms, with a usual list
